move over MS word, its Google to the rescue

New year and its still Google-orientated, this time focusing on Google docs.

The article on techradar website about tips for Google docs  (see http://www.techradar.com/news/internet/web/12-things-you-didn-t-know-google-docs-could-do-658921) i found very useful. I don't have much experience with google docs, but i can see a use for it especially when using a public computer. I tested some of the features, as it works similar to a MS Word application it is not difficult to use.

Another useful site was "100 Great Google Docs Tips for Students & Educators" which had keyboard shortcuts for Google docs as well as other tips ( see http://www.accreditedonlinecolleges.org/blog/2009/100-great-google-docs-tips-for-students-educators/). This is also a handy site, though it means more shortcuts to remember.

What google doc tips would you like to share? i don't have any as it's not something i use very much. In truth i only discovered it late last year from a colleague who was showing it to a patron of the library.
